The Logo should be relate to the national objective of Broadband for all Rural (Gram Panchayats) to provide services like e-Governance, e-education, remote health monitoring, ...
The Logo should be relate to the national objective of Broadband for all Rural (Gram Panchayats) to provide services like e-Governance, e-education, remote health monitoring, weather and agriculture, etc. to rural community. NOFN project will provide fibre connectivity to all the 2, 50,000 Gram Panhayats (GPs) in the country.
This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) Project initiated by USO Fund of Department of Telecommunications.
The last date of submission is 1st January, 2015.
The winning entries will be awarded cash prize of:
1. First Prize - Rs. 51,000/- (Prize money inclusive of taxes if any)
2. Second prize - Rs. 31,000/- (Prize money inclusive of taxes if any)

the wheel represents bullock cart wheel symbolising villages. e represents e governance,e education through internet.the blue lines represents optical fibre connected all around indicating connected to all rural areas.the blue lines are three layered representing core(inner blue) and cladding (outer white) of optical fibre.In the tri colour orange ,green represents cladding,white represents core of optical fibre.

Logo is a blend of Village "Chaupaal" and optical fibers. The tree is made up of optical fibers.
