A citizen aggrieved by the misleading advertisement can appeal to other citizens by discussing among friends, fellows; making it as a news it item both in print and telecast to make other citizens vigilant and thereby preventing them from becoming victim of the same. Legal recourse is there but delay in the process facilitates miscreants to avail benefits, moreover, the delay factor dilutes the impact of grievance and the remedy as well.

Dear PM Sir, pls make 100 smart cities only in the mid level cities of the country like Amravati, Solapur, Udaipur, Nagpur, Indore, VIzag, etc. And not in the metro cities like Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Etc. These metro cities has got or going to get all the things which need to make life better for people. Please give chance to other cities of India to grow and develop. And please make public the name of all 100 smart cities as early as possible. Pls, seriously........

Advertisement come under commercial speech and it has protection of Freedom of Speech and Expression. Misleading Advertisements are matter of worry for all. Censorship is essential for all the advertisement. The government must constitute a board which could check the displaying of such advertisements. All ads should pass through a channel of censor board before being displayed. Secondly time limit must be fixed for the displaying of any advertisement. Then only check can be imposed on the ads.

1. I think there should be some facility to e-filing the cases. Due to shortage of time and lengthy processes of filing the case against misleading advertisement, most people take their step behind even if they are serious about the filing the case. 2. Telephonic efiling od cases can also be helpful. The calls can be recorded and produced as evidence in court and we can be provided with a complaintlreference number. The same thing we are doing in out call centers of various private brands.

1.Government should provide facility to the consumers ,that they can file E-FIR against the companies. 2.To reduce the burden on courts & speedy trials E-COURTS can be framed. 3.Police should file FIR instantly on these issues, but i think it is near to impossible. So above 2 measures can be adopted.

Using celebrities for advertisement of product should be banned. Only showing of product on screen and background voice to inform about the product is sufficient. This will reduce the cost of that product and will bring more concentration of people to know about product.
