Proud of our country and chose the national carrier Air India to travel from DEL to ORD. Arrived a week back with one missing baggage with no response from airlines for past one week. Any query conveniently lands on voice message. Is this how we will restore confidence in our country's tourism? Who is accountable for our loss, not only of belongings but reputation of our nation. It seems evident that there is no accountability in the operation of Air India. The brunt is borne by common citizens.

Sir, existing laws are sufficient to target fraudsters, but with social media, the reach is too vast to monitor. Hence, fora of concerned netizens should be encouraged to report such fraudulent claims to the appropriate authority, may be an online advtg. ombudsman. Online filters can also be used to screen for such advertisements. MLM & chit schemes wreak havoc amongst small investors, strong local monitoring mechanisms are required to check these with a possible unit in all police stations.

Govt. should make effective laws & rules first and then should also ensure proper implementation of these. Common man can lodge complaint against such advt. on an online portal specifically designed for this purpose. This portal immediately send copy of complaint to police, cunsumer deptt. and respective agency publishing and responsible for this advt. Common man can avoid use of such products, news papers/tv channels for the time being they realise their mistake.
