The department who monitors these institutes should be strict and there should be an online policy / reporting mechanism so that offices can not ignore the important factors while auditing such engineering institutes. Ministry can also help by sending their experts or sending outsourced resources to these institutes. This will help in making them more professional and also impart some knowledge to the kids who are otherwise zero.

Skill development is not important but necessity. It is not a luxury but the need of the hour. I see lots of young kids out of college (mostly small private colleges) and no knowledge of the domain. Specially in the engineering sector where I belong. There is a greater need to focus on these institutes and generate manpower which can contribute. This can happen with skill development at the institutes. but the management of most of these are not capable or willing enough to impart quality edu.

Today's education system is outdated and is of no use to anyone. It is a system of rote and does not have any practical application. IT does not help students get jobs or prepare them for the competition ahead. Our children are ill equipped to perform in the international job market. That is why we lose a lot of our bright students who go abroad to get a good education and find jobs there. A drastic change in the content, quality teachers and teaching methods is required immediately.

Dear Mr. Modi one of the biggest deterrents to India becoming a major player in the global platform is our poor quality of work. Our products do not meet world quality standards. Please insist that skill training includes quality and pride in the products we build so that we can compete globally. We need to remove the "Chalta Hain" attitude from people and re-instill pride in our work and in our country.

Dear Mr. Modi. I suggest starting a skill development program with the veterans (ex-army). If they can be trained as teachers, as skill set facilitators they can then be deployed to villages etc where they can train the youth. This will ensure a wider reach of the program and also employment for the veterans.

Dear Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, To have inclusive skill development would request that the Muslim and other minority communities be encouraged to have higher education, for this renowned and learned people from their community may be roped in for showing direction to them. This will help in developing the Nation. Ek Rashtra, Shrestra Rashtra.

why only a select few indian states make a hue and cry against national entrance for medical course? are they scared that they can not get thro because their brain power is below standard? if they are not confident to get thro, let them opt for other avenues; why aspire for medical education, when they can not get thro national entrance exam; only quality should prevail; for that, only merit shd be criterion; any reservation, discrimination shall only compromise on quality;
