With the burgeoning population in 18-35 year category, I think it is imperative on us to skill these people so that they positively contribute to Indian economy. If this is not done then we face a horrible scenario where we have huge numbers of unemployed youth due to lack of skills and thereby resorting to crimes/anti social activities. If we give them skills & subsequently jobs then they can positively focus their energy into playing there part for India.

Skill development initiative is really good step towards development of our NATION, my views are.. 1.One Center at least should be every panchyat. 2.All the government school can be a best place for center. 3.Choose faculty from that society where it is suppose to be start. (this will be good for unemployment,Society bounding ...etc )

As an Electronics and Communication Engineering student,we have to take some extra skill development training with extra cost from privet institutes for career, which is not included in our 4 year B.tech syllabus. some times its not possible to take this paid training due to poor financial condition. So,I think these skill development should be run by the Government in low cost and should be included in 4year B.tech syllabus. Engineering skills like PLC, Embedded System. arijitsikder2@gmail.com

Continuation - A person can qualify for a higher level after completing a lower level education and giving an exam. So here a lot is based on choice for students but people are bucketed under 3 categories to make sure they choose a profession based on their capabilities. This is basically more or less the essence of our initial caste system where based on a person's capabilities he/she was put in a certain caste. Of course - now we have a totally different version of it.

Continuation. . . I am living in Netherlands for 6 years now and see here there is an excellent system to train people for future jobs. 1) Education for all children is mandatory till 18 years. 2) Roughly around 10th standard - all students give an exam once in lifetime - that put them in broadly 3 categories : (1st level - can choose schools/courses making scientists/economists etc, 2nd level - doctors/engineers etc. and 3rd level are manual jobs like carpenters/painters.

I think there are some very important reasons which must drive us to give this issue importance: 1) Explosion of people in age group (18-35) exponentially - if we don't skill them and they don't work then (empty mind is devil's home). 2) Give alternative to youth from rural background to move away from agriculture 3) Make in India - emphasizes on "Zero Defect" and so it is important to have good skills in skilled or semi skilled jobs to ensure India is known for HIGH quality products

I think the right question should be what skills are required in the 21st century? Most importantly our goverment officials need lessons in 'LISTENING SKILLS'. I HAVE OBSERVED THEIR DEFICIENCY IN ACTIVE AND EMPATHETIC LISTENING. Secondly, skills like cooking, carpentry, sculpting, tailoring, pottery, etc should be made compulsory(internal option)in schools. Apart from academic excellence, skills should also be given weight age in employment. when knowledge meets skills, success greets!

Gretings of the day sir, today black money plays vital role to reduce development of the country. so I suggest few methods. In elections for wining they make black money,so sterengthen the election commission, we should use drones for search any one distribute the money ,block the bank acconts in election prone area exception give above rs 10000deposit transaction in single account.if strictly implement this no one political party need too much funds for won elections.
