Skill development is a concept that should be inculcated in student not after the graduation. Since beginning of their education it should be seen, what are their areas of interest?, sports, art, craft, music, etc. And teachers should teach them that being a doctor or engineer or civil servant is not the end of the world. We have distinguished personalities from fields like painting, cinema, sports, students should try out these ventures. For example field of mass comm cab be seen also.

To concentrate on skill development viz; fine & performing arts, sports etc. Sir, there is a great need to sync industry and redo Open Schooling in India. China has done a great thing in the world of production. They have learnt the art of production by doing outsourcing like what india has done for services. Further they have developed skilled labours out of uneducated mass to increase production, livelihood and reduce cost

THE TERM SKILL DEVELOPMENT IS STILL NOT KNOWN TO THE EXTREMELY RURAL PART OF INDIA. THE POOR ARE STILL FAR AWAY FROM THE BENEFIT.

We need to upgrade tool rooms of Engineering Colleges, IITs, ITIs, Vocational Training Partners with the best and latest equipment and technology from the developed nations to make Make in India a success. Teach Zero Defect Zero Effect means quality with safety, machines, process, QC, optimisation, efficiency. This will make us competitive in the global market and we should target to put our price 5% higher than China but with value addition of 10% from China instead of a price war

Dear Friends, Growth in labour is 1/3 of growth in GDP = 2.5% as of date - 1.4 is growth in population = 1.1% deficit x 1.25 billion. This gap can be filled by employing the unemployed and bringing women folk into the labour market. To compete with global quality and working with Zero Defect Zero Effect we need high-end training centres, IDCs, IITs, ITIs, Training of Trainers in safety, machines, process, QC, optimisation, efficiency etc from developed nations. www.caple.in
