The NITI Aayog-led Shoonya campaign, in partnership with MyGov India, is thrilled to announce the electric vehicles Townhall, an open discussion platform for citizens to share valuable ideas and suggestions to promote and enhance the clean electric mobility ecosystem in India. The Townhall focuses on electric vehicles (EVs) and their associated advantages, including cost savings, clean air, health benefits, and emission reduction.

In line with this initiative, NITI Aayog in collaboration with MyGov, invites input from citizens.

I think better to install SOLAR cell in every Electrical Vehicle , Even also design for two wheeler like umbrella's . so reduce Coal power plant running . so Global warming also reduced.

EVs are better for saving energy and environment but it would be more efficient if the batteries charge fast,at present, batteries take 6 hrs approx to get charge,if it would be reduced to 1-2 hrs the. it will be better. Secondly, like petrol pumps,EV charging points will be established in the cities with a powerful charging point so that the insecurity will be gone and people will purchase the EVs more. The state governments should take this initiatives to give tenders for EV charging points or subsidies so that people will invest in it. It can also be done by establishing the charging points in the vehicles like vans so that it can moveable from one place to other, just like PUC vans and people can easily access it.

EV two & three wheelers should have charging from braking, slowing down & down gradients. This can give additional mileage. Cars have inbuilt systems. Even railways have this type of traction which is back fed to the grid.

1. replaceable , removable ans anti theft battery is the need. Easy to carry like suitcase. if this is achieved then charging at home, office 3tc becomes extremely easy. Let's mandate atleats one version of vehicle with this feature.. 2. Need Prepaid automated charging station booth . MSEB can play big role, they have already occupied good space for DP. It can be reused 3. Promote new Solar powered charging station.

EV is a way towards sustainable development,to get accessible to EV infrastructure some following points need to be taken as per my opinion:- 1.Develop an EV charging station in every petrol pump. 2.Replaceable battery options should be given by all EV manufacturers. 3.Awareness about EVs should be increased by the Govt. itself. 4.Every EV company is in urban areas but in my opinion they should also focus on providing their services in rural areas.
