Mr Prime Minister, To reduce our import and our dependence on foreign countries we have to start manufacturing things that we import. The government can start a website which enlist all the products that we import and can explain in detail the facilities the government will give if anyone start manufacturing it in India and give employment. I am sure these details will be available somewhere but it has to reach a common man then he can become entrepreneur & take benefit of MUDRA bank.

We need to encourage Micro and small industries to create jobs. But some of the recent initiatives from Labour dept. seems to be in foavour of large industries and against micro businesses. For example, proposal to reduce the EPF coverage criteria from 20 members to 10 members is not at all advisable. Thought the idea is to bring more people under the socail security net, it is going to work against the micro entrepruners as they might have the financial ability.

1. The rules relating to formation of an SME company be simplified. The SEBI must also relax some norms for listing and collecting funds through capital markets.2. The SMEs be provided with an insurance cover at discounted rates.3.A well designed website be launched providing all necessary information/permission on a single portal. 4. Public sector banks harass many SMEs when granting loans.
