It is cumbersome when listing the ludicrous regulations that business must adhere to. Complying with them all is impossible, so officials routinely extort bribes for breaches. To avoid a shakedown, businesses stay tiny and inefficient. And India remains poor and woefully short of decent jobs.

A small unit owner has so many compliance to do that it becomes impossible for him to devote his time to his productive activity - State VAT / Octroi / LBT / Service Tax / Profession tax / Employees profession tax / Income Tax / TDS / Central Sales Tax / Audits and assessments for all these plus pollution board / labour officer / factory inspector etc etc When will one do the REAL BUSINESS ACTIVITY ??

SME and MSME are the backbone of our economy for job creations - Still the Central Excise exemption to a SSI unit is static at 150 lac turnover since about last 10 years or so - under current market condition a very small trader is a city also reached this turnover limit - hence this exemption is as good as no exemption to the SSI. Under current conditions it should be at least 500 lacs turnover.

3.Thousands of Skilled technicians come out of our I.T.Is.If they are organised properly under Industrial Parks, given intensive training, arrange financial support they will be able to produce quality products/ancillaries necessary for defense, railways,Tel communications etc.etc.Thus we will provide employment, save foreign exchange .It will provide much more employment than large scale industries which can specialise on manufacture sophisticated equipments. 4.HOpe PMO will look into my requests

2.If Khadi is promoted vigorously, if possible with association of a Committed N.G.O ,it can provide rural employment, generate rural wealth and give relief from over dependence on agriculture by providing alternate employment. .A professor at Bangalore University has published an excellent article on this subject in International Journal of Inter disciplinary and Multi disciplinary studies{IJIMS}, 2014 Vol1 No5 349-356

In face book I saw only two success stories of village adoption by Sachin Tendulkar and Ms.Nirmala Sitaraman,Hoble minister for Commerce. If at all Village adoption is implemented successfully under supervision of one of the energetic ministers the results will be quicker than many other schemes. We will see positive results in 3-4 years.Govt may try to involve public Sector Banks who have experienced ag. officers and lead bank officers.

Hon'ble Prime Minister does a marvelous job in promoting India and establishing excellent bilateral relationship. But enough feed back on implementation of various agreements signed earlier and announcements made are not given either through media or press or press releases. Eg: In Oct 2014 P.M announced 1. Village Adoption by MPs 2.Promotion of Khadi 3.Skill development Afterwards in one meeting Hon.Prime Minister himself expressed his dissatisfaction on the progress of village adoption.

Sir,in my opinion SMEs and MSMEs play a very important role in job creation as they have better exposure to the markets and provide services and components to big firms and in order to boost job creation as well as the economy SMEs and MSMEs would need to be boosted and also Sir if you want Make In India we need to make SMEs and MSMEs highly self reliant. The steps that needs to be taken up:- 1. Providing Subsidy and Promoting SEZs in Manufacturing. 2. Providing low cost funds.
