Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

If you find global best practices of how various Governments have been innovatively engaging with their diaspora through such summits, you can share the same here too.

GOI should study and learn how various other diasporas operate in strengthening their own respective nations and cultures: Chinese diaspora, Greek diaspora, Italian diaspora, Irish diaspora, Jewish diaspora, and many others. Can use their unique approaches and apply their best practices to strengthen relations with the Indian diaspora. A lot more can be done in this area and I hope GOI takes it very seriously. Indian diaspora can be a huge source of help for the long run.

NRI investment in real estate sector can grow in leaps if there is some guarantee regarding completion of projects and clear titles. It may be good idea to encourage some kind of certification of real estate projects like CRISIL does for industry. NRI investment in real estate means they will be linked to india growth story for longer duration.

WHY MODI JI WANT INVESTMENT FROM NRI AND FOREIGN NATIONALS, WHY HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN INVESTMENT FROM DOMESTIC INVESTORS. UNLESS BUREAUCRACY IS DRASTICALLY REDUCED IN SIZE, ALL BRITISH MADE (CONGRESS CONTINUED) LAWS AND TAXES WHICH DISCOURAGE ENTERPRISE SHOULD BE REPEALED. ONLY THEN ANY INVESTMENT WILL BE MADE, EITHER BY FOREIGNER OR BY INDIAN. OUT OF 1826 DAYS, MODIJI YOU HAVE ALREADY CONSUMED 200 DAYS. VOTERS OF BJP ARE FEELING CHEATED AS THEY ARE YET TO SEE ANY SUCH REFORMS ROAD MAP

Respected PM Sir, I'm confident of seeing best India under your leadership. I wish to share an idea for economical growth of our country. One of my idea (17yrs old) is already in pipeline ie development of Haldia-Varanasi waterways. My other idea is to develop Indira Point by the help of USA or Russian firm like Singapore. As a sailor I'm confident that geographical position of Indira point has the potential to give India benefits beyond our imagination provided rates offered are competitive.
