In spite of providing facility for free immunization to the pregnant mothers, only 32.4% of ST mothers (lowest among all social groups) received advice about where to go if they experienced pregnancy complications.
1) What could be the reasons attributing to it?
2) What interventions would be required to achieve 100% coverage of immunisation of pregnant mothers amongst tribals?
3) What can be the role of various Ministries, agencies (of Government and Non-government) to achieve 100% coverage of immunisation.

We solicit some sharing of experiences and suggestions on the subject.

More details on the subject can be found here.

For 100 % coverage of immunization program. 1) appointment of brand ambassador for the program. 2) announcement of the program on tv , radio whichever is more penetration in that area. 3) distribution of pamphlets in houses and posters on main chowks

Reason for less immunization in tribal pregneny women may be following 1) less awareness abt immunization, abt immunization program or both. 2) less trust on immunization 3) this program may not reach to those remaining tribes. Following steps can be taken to make immunization 100% 1) door to door awareness program by creation of MOHALLA IMMUNIZATION SAMITI. Which will constituted of immunization voluntears and these voluntears are from that mohalla only

1) Low reproduction system/Sex education along with importance of immunization 2) social practice 3) Insensitive/Indifferent ANMs,Poor quality infrastructure, and visit experience create fear and dislike for public healthcare institution Intervention: 1) Trust building is foremost for ANM so she should be knowing local tribal language, should be available at the center always, should be sensitive 2) Educate pregnant mothers about immunization and pursued 3) Digital image record of each

At grassrout level lot of data reported is fake one , lowest link of health system does all the things for records only, they do not insist target papulation about the benifits of imunigation during pregnancy, or imunigation of child after birth.no one goes door to door in tribal areas an higher peoples also do not re examine the data or work done .results in zero effect

Sir,it's a thing of great happiness that tiger population has increased from 1706 in2010 to 2250 in 2014.Along with promoting cultural tourism tourists can be attracted by wildlife safari. It will bring foreign exchange as well as promote tribal development. So, tiger population and other wildlife should be conserved in Odisha and naxal affected areas in which results are not so appealing. Also, wildlife tourism in India should be advertised.

(1) post the basic stage [ ANC 1st stage ]the interaction drops as the mother might move to another location with known #tribal #women e.g. mothers place (2) the printing of medicine label / a card in local dialect - plus a #childhealth card with the mothers to give / sync with local contact point (3) the various ministeries have to synergies themselves as in coalbelt the coordination between coalMin + envoirnmentMin + health for 100% coverage #immunisation
