The general public/stakeholder is hereby informed that the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) invites comments/suggestions on the amendment in “Apprentices Act,1961” with an objective to enhance the apprenticeship opportunities for youth.

Any person/stakeholder desirous of sending their comments/suggestions may do so through e-mail at anita.sriv@nic.in within thirty working days from the date of publication of the details of the invite.

our education system should be changed to a skill-based education system from 5-12 so our country's children will have a high IQ Level.

There is need of identifying various profession and skilled required to it , secondly there is need of digital platform which connect forward backward linkages of profession. Digitization of gig economy and informal dsector would be first step towards formalisation .identify traditional jobs like ironsmith, shoemaker, artist and digitize them and promote youth towards them and give skill regarding those jobs.

The main objective of the Apprentices Act, 1961 is to meet the rising need for proficient craftsman. Giving experimental training to the people who’re specialized in their crafts is the primary aim of the Apprentice Act. Candidates holding Diploma and Engineering Graduates can likewise benefit from this plan. As per the announcement of Central Government any industry or any area the provisions of the act are applicable.
