The general public/stakeholder is hereby informed that the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) invites comments/suggestions on the amendment in “Apprentices Act,1961” with an objective to enhance the apprenticeship opportunities for youth.

Any person/stakeholder desirous of sending their comments/suggestions may do so through e-mail at anita.sriv@nic.in within thirty working days from the date of publication of the details of the invite.

The last date for submission of inputs is 10th May 2021.

Apprentices Act,1961 should be amended in such a way to make sure the below mentioned sectors of society can get the benefits. We need to provide reservations to the below sections of soceity. 1) SC/ST/BC 2) Economically Poor 3) Women and LGBT

2. Small govt training centers like employment offices can open, and teach small jobs, small scale businesses, medium scale busineses etc. Ex: making greenery bags, farming organic vegetables, tree plantation , art works, required jobs related works etc.

Some general suggestions 1. Generally in IT companies, freshers used to get training of 3 months or 6 months etc. According to training , skills they get post into their trained relevant technologies. This is my experience. Similar we can apply possible places, after recruiting candidates, online training relevant to the posts ( as Covid time) and then can do online test etc then can post in works.2. Small govt training centers like employment offices, can open and can teach hand jobs

यदि मातापिता द्वारा अर्थपोषित बच्चों द्वारा परिवारिक व्यवसाय में मदद करना अप्रेंटिस शीप एक्ट के तहत मान्य करार दिया जाय।बाल मजदूरी अधिनियम के दायरे से इसको अलग रखा जाय। एक न्यूज रिपोर्ट द्वारा बड़ा हो हल्ला मचा था जब प्राथमिक/माध्यमिक स्कूल के छात्रों द्वारा खुदअभिभावकों के खेतों में धान की रोपनी कराई गई थी। वस्तुतः यह उन आदिवासियों की पहले से कमजोर आर्थिक रीढ़ को तोड़ने जैसा था। ताकि वे मोहताज ही बने रहें। होना तो यह चाहिए कि इसे अप्रेंटिस शीप एक्ट के तहत लाकर बच्चों को उचित मजदूरी दिलायी जाय।

Establishing PMKVY/MSDE isn't enough Important is it's Implementation 1st )& foremost A MASSIVE SCALE AWARENESS MUST BE DONE,related to SKILL DEV PROGRAM 2)MUST discover & polish the Skills, of students within School Life, by ACTIVE & REGULAR govt campaigns 3) Multiple Courses must be provided by MSDE with excellent faculty of retired Teachers,etc 4) Placement guarantee is as imp as courses.Govt must realise the Youth Unemployment to be eradicated,by providing special Quota for PMKVY Student
