I think definitely there will be low cost for the products which are made in INDIA when compare to others. So Slik produts should be updated according to date to date fashion in the market and produce according that. And based on that we have to promote the products very highly i.e., like Sale-cum- exhibition, open a small centre of these products in rural and semi urban areas in the country. And when comming to ABOARD there is only a solution is PROMOTING.

In Chennai (TN) the margazhi music season in the December month is a world famous one. The woman singers and others in those programs used to wear the silk sarees. In a way to promote the silk, government can ask them to give a small talk about that particular silk type and the associated traditions and values. This will give more traditional background to Silk

Duplicates should be totally banned to be sold in the silk cities. Though there are many ways and silk marks to be checked, if tourist comes newly to the silk city the guide will take them to the shop which offers money to the guide.& Sometimes we can't guarantee the quality of those silk sarees. If the tourist bought the duplicate Silk Saree that will create a negative image upon silk. So the silk city shops should be checked

The Khadi and CoOptex shops are the most trusted silk saree sellers. The number of varieties needs to be increased in these shops. There should be good sense of color combination in the sarees.

सर लोग आपको बहुत फोलो करते हैं, यदि आप इसका अधिक उपयोग करें और लोगों को उसके महत्व को बताया करें तो मैं नहीं मानता की इससे अच्छा कुछ और हो सकता है।

Break the barrier of the word 'sarees' linked to silk. Why don't our banarasi brothers try to make some western outfits using silk? Branding and advertising may help too.
