Host exhibitions in big cities. Keep outlets at every tourist place. Tourists are usually enthusisatic about shopping. In western countries, the exit of every tourist place is through their shop. If we have such shops at the exit of Taj Mahal or other places, there will be lots of shoppers. Brands should be created for the silk products and they should be sold online in India as well as abroad.

To increase the demand of Indian silk products in the country as well as abroad,we should first of all minimize intermediators from productions and marketing cycle and make prices affordable for middle class ,who is largest consumer of the country.A National pride should be attached with Khadi silk Export may be heavily subsidized at beginning for few years.consumer items Import from China must be curtailed & indigenous products should be developed, even on the cost of subsidy in beginning.

Sir. Silk products should be marketed through khadi gramodyog commission, and higher subsidy should be provided, so that weavers are compensated. Further, special cooperatives should be formed for marketing of silk products only, with outlets at district headquarters, where initially subsidy should be provided to small weavers. Likewise, silk products should be marketed at international forums also to give boost to people engaged in weaving of silk cloth.

Disseminating information about various silk types which can be worn in different seasons. Currently people perceive it as a cloth to be worn on special occasion. So there is a need to diversify the menu and popularize specific silk clothing for casual and comfort wear. It can be effectively done through research and advertisements.
