The Government of India issued guidelines for the promotion of payments through cards and digital means on 29th February, 2016. The guidelines can be seen (here). A Committee was also constituted under the Chairmanship of Shri Ratan P Watal, Principal Advisor, NITI Ayog and Former Finance Secretary with key industry stakeholders, RBI and concerned Government Departments to review medium term measures necessary to promote the digital payment system in the Country. The Committee’s report can be seen here.

The Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India invites public Comments / suggestions on the report. We invite you to read the report and provide your valuable feedback and suggestions by 11th January 2017. The final decision on the Report will be taken after considering the comments/suggestions received on the Report.

sir, 1.bhim need to be capability for bill payment. 2.No limitation for bill payment(govt bill & rgster cmpny ). 3.make unique id for all consumer id( gas, electricity,water's consumer id) for shake of simplicity of bill paymnt

need to have a payment gateway which is totally free - for both buyers and sellers.. till the time there are transaction charges, people will not move to digital payments. I was under the impression that *99# is totally free, but then learnt that some mobile operators are charging every time someone dials this number, even for checking balance!

#digitalindia sir please remove extra charges if we pay from debit or credit cards for sum amounting upto 10,000. This will also enhance the general public from paying by cards and the most important step for digital India.

No service charge, No transaction charges and any other charges directly or indirectly on this service for at least 15 years may be fruitful.

sar ji pranaam sar up may khadya bibhag may bahut problam ho rahi hai logo ko pds ration nahi mil pa raha hai jitna jaldi ho sakay ration ki subsidy bhi lpg ki tarah say kar di jiye sara jo ek bahut bada brastachaar faila hua hai band ho jayega essay garibo ko ration bhi milnay lagaygaa.jo ki abhi nahi mil pa raha hai

Dear Modi sir your step towards digital transaction is nice but don't encourage Chinese POS machines and Atms. Your make in India scheme is good, but we Indians feel proud to see products of India.

sir. each & every Indian want to be cashless economy.for that gov. must do some basic thing is that developed rural infrastructure of banking that is Internet, Electricity volentier to explain common man in village. and u have to also do strict action against fraud ,currept bankers, hackers.

also very bad service of SBI ATM, i am not sure what you are doing and what you are working, you are talking about digital india, cash less india, net banking, mobile banking, but nothing doing as well, Modi ji, do you have any answer?????????? i know you cant do anything, BORE BORE LECTURE DETE HO, ASLI KAM KUCH NEHI HAI, FER ELECTION AGIA VOT MANG RE ROHO, you are totally BEGGAR and lecture buj.

Give the license of approving the ATM Card to above the 15 years old college students. Then the almost digitalized INDIA will made perfectly. This is my humble request to My Indian Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi.

Many shops are asking extra 2% as banking charges for digital transactions that should be waived off. Internet and network connectivities are the biggest bottlenecks. Instead of giving prizes for digital transactions person, goverment can give Free internet to do digital transaction.
