Cooperative societies can be formed , which will supply goods to the District forest Depts. Forest Depts are already established Govt entities which can brand, advertise and sell the products. ( ensuring the best quality) local stores can also be developed inside the Forrest areas / guest houses/ tourist centers where they can sell the product.

I think the best way to go ahead is;
1. Branding
2. Form a dedicated group of people (with background in such area) to identify the items, work force and geographical details.
3. form a marketing div. (to advertise and to make sure products reach people (via portal etc))
4. logistic support - delivery of goods to end users.
4. Make sure profits are reached to the work force.

The Banmoo house projects can help in times of disaster in supplying shelter to those distressed too. I have the whole plan in mind and can help if a group of people from different disciplines join.

The first thing to do is make bamboo free of Forest act as 1) it is a type of grass 2) In indirect way its being only in forests for harvesting is helping fund naxalites. 3) If planted on agriculture fields without irrigation facilities,it will help farmers survive if they do not have to bribe umpteen numbers of officials to allow them to harvest own crop and market it.
Next step is to set up small units manufacturing modular bamboo houses all over india for housing for poor.

Create a strong brand like fabindia or forest essence! And make it global, get a good brand ambassador and a nice advertising and marketing agency should be able to create a brand image in people that way people will buy the stuff even at a slightly higher rate increasing the profit.

First form a team who will collect the information about the things tribal people make and give brand name with government assistance and start advertising by creating documents, website. The team which has been created will be governing about the queries of customers and in delivering the product to customers. By this way half of their work will be promoted.By educating the tribals about the reviews of customers and marketing skills.

Hello,
First off all create a platform like a blog where people get to know the benefits and different uses of such products. By creating awareness about the products the demand automatically pulls. Than developing an e-commerce site or shake hands with existing companies to list these products. Using such platform not only creates national but also international demand.
