it is important to link industries with education to employability. it can be done by having counselling at root level at high school, since that is the best time a student can learn that there is more than engineering or medical. he will be able to explore and choose what is right for him and not just follow the crowd.

Industry link to education is a good thing. In my view for every industry, it should be made mandatory to link with atleast one educational institution. This will help the students a lot in terms of employability and exposure

Some guideline or regulation needs to be ensured by the regulating authority on Private colleges to make sure that they are imparting relevant and sufficient industrial training. Pvt. colleges in lieu of money are changing systems in their own favor, they have different syllabus and structure on paper and something totally different on board. A regulation or supervising authority is a must for these institutions. Also, industry must be made sensitive towards training under-grad students.
