Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

Government should mark beautiful spots where tourists can rest. Rural areas of India are very conservatives. Govt. Can make regional sites or museum on their culture in that areas

I feel it is. by calling the rural people, to tour from one village to other, the best way to start with. It will ripple a feeling and will be helpful to promote. Overall, it is a matter of 'Safety, Reliability, Commuting, Hospitability & Right Connect', when it matters with the others, in general. It is quite important to note, who takes interest and whom should be allowed. The interest and purpose are very much important. It relates with culture and ethos, which is our rural India till day.

Villages can flourish if villegers feel self reliant. If the infrastructure such as proper all season roads, electricity , drinking water, safety and mobile connectivity is made available then people will think of staying there. A local food, a local cultural heritage, a local language, staying with nature, pet animals such as cows, horses actual working in farms, food processing units bio diversity, local guide. Knowledge of local geography, temples or religious places tourist can visit.

Villages are backbone of our country. Villages are also have a historical background and culture in our nation. Most of the villages have a great cultural background and thus it is require to build all of various activities in the country in various villages. Many of villages have their own identity and same must be protected. Every individual has a duty to enlarge the religious and traditional aspects to develop a good nation.

Sir,You have great political pandits in your Bihar election campaign but it's surprising that your manifesto does not include minimum gurente support price of Makhanas which Bihar is makes major contributions both internal and export purposes.Large number of Bihar's agriculture population is engaged in producing Makhanas. They need two type support and induction of support for Fisheries industry. This would have fetched more votes but you lost.
