Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

ग्रामीण पर्यटन स्थानीय न्यायालयों के लिए कर राजस्व के एक महत्वपूर्ण स्रोत के रूप में काम कर सकता है और स्थानीय खाद्य उत्पादों के उपयोग और बिक्री को बढ़ावा देता है। ग्रामीण पर्यटन व्यवहार्य पारंपरिक व्यवसायों को विस्थापित होने से बचाता है और ग्रामीण निवासियों को व्यवसाय के अवसर प्रदान करता है और रोजगार के नए अवसर पैदा करता है।

Rural tourism can serve as an important source of tax revenues for local jurisdictions and promotes the usage and sale of local food products. Rural tourism prevents viable traditional occupations from being displaced and offers rural residents the business opportunities and creates new employment opportunities.

आज के लिए आपका मेजबान हूँ। वर्षा जल संचयन एक बहुत ही उचित गतिविधि है। इसमें जल निकासी के साथ-साथ प्राकृतिक पानी या मानव निर्मित जलाशयों में बारिश के पानी का भंडारण भी शामिल है। वर्षा जल संचयन का एक अन्य तरीका भी है जिसे रूफटॉप हार्वेस्टिंग के रूप में जाना जाता है। रूफटॉप हार्वेस्टिंग में धातु की चादरें, टाइलें और प्लास्टिक के रूप में ऐसी सतहें हैं जिनमें पत्ल के पत्ते या घास को छोड़कर वर्षा जल प्रवाह को बाधित किया जा सकता है और हमारे घरों में प्रीमियम गुणवत्ता वाला पानी उपलब्ध करवाया जा सकता है

The pure and demanding form of tourism is eco tourism. So our culture, ethics, cousins,fairs, cropping season and the local structure of the houses should put for sale as tourism product to enable the rural India,

we used our agriculture forest tourism we create and develop our as well as developed the Kerala and other others this is a example disease example our tourism place forest and develop our country this is a great thing for create invest in this is such a great thing we know great thing and tourism ok thank you as we see Kerala agriculture and Arabic Si and CI we enjoyed that 5 why we do not as same as Kerala so I think this is a great initiative
