Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Diwas, is observed every year on 26th November, marking the historic adoption of the Constitution of India. This day not only commemorates this monumental event but also reaffirms our commitment to the core values, rights, duties, and democratic principles enshrined in the Constitution. It serves as an occasion to honour the visionary leaders and founding fathers who shaped India’s legal, social, and democratic framework.
To celebrate this significant occasion, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, in collaboration with MyGov, is organising an Essay and Blog Writing Contest on Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhiman. The initiative aims to encourage citizens—especially the youth—to reflect on the Constitution’s enduring relevance, its role in nation-building, and the pride it instils in every Indian.
Word limit: 600 to 1200 words.
Gratification: The Top 3 winners of the contest will each receive a copy of the Constitution of India, awarded by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
