We clean ourselves and our shelter every day in order to keep us clean and neat, and also we would like to maintain standard but it is only applicable to us and our surroundings. I suggest that we should substantially increase frequency of trains between important cities (may be every 30 minutes) to balance heavy load on trains and also to make easily available train tickets. This will also lead to efficient use of rail line infrastructure and encourage use of public transport in travel instead of personalised car travel. Recently I had marvelous experience in Switzerland with one week Swiss train pass. We could actually plan and visit all places in the country on our own using Swiss train in weekly pass. We can have similar train system (SBB) and also mobile App for trip planning, ticket purchase etc. Indian Rail connecting main cities at every 30 min and metro trains connecting suburbs to main city station will provide hassle free end to end travel solution for citizens. Airports also could be connected by Metro to city main station. May please study Swiss train system and consider implementing on similar lines in our country. Thank you.
