Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

ऑनलाइन जनसंख्या यदि वास्तविकता का रुप लेता है तो: सभी बोर्ड और विश्वविद्यालय नागरिकों की शैक्षणिक योग्यता परीक्षा फल प्रकाशन के दिन ही अपलोड कर देंगे। सभी अस्पताल प्रसवकेंद्र जन्म की जानकारी अपलोड कर देंगे। सभी निय़ोक्ता अपने कार्मिकों की जानकारी अपलोड कर देंगे। विवाह निबंधक, कंपनी निबंधक, भमि/संपति निबंधक ....अपने स्तर की प्रामाणिक जानकारियां अपलोड करें तो जनगणना की प्रामाणिकता नि:संदेह होगी।

आदरणीय महोदय नमस्कार। जन्म और मृत्यु का रजिस्ट्रेशन बहुत ही सराहनीय कदम है। प्रयास होने चाहिए कि कम जनसंख्या को प्रोत्साहन दिया जाए। अक्सर ऐसा देखा जाता है कि अधिक संतान रखने पर भी, सभी संतानों सहित राशन कार्ड, सरकार द्वारा अनाज और अन्य सुविधाएं मुहैया कराई जाती है। जो कि जनसंख्या प्रोत्साहन और देश की समस्या में उत्तरदायी है। दो संतान तक ही राशन कार्ड और अन्य सरकारी सुविधाएं सीमित रहने पर लोग जनसंख्या वृद्धि मे हतोत्साहित होंगे। विचारणीय 🤔 जय हिन्द।

Please issue Adhar card at birth. The birth certificate can be number as adhar number plus 3 alphabets. no need for separate applications. you can also try issue of PAN card also with last 3 addl alphabets for PAN identification. the 12 digit adhar can remain common at all places and further 3 alphabets can be used separately for education, subsidies, banks, I Tax, GST, customs etc. the adhar, if issued as swipe card, can be used as debit card as all bank accounts are linked to adhar.
