The Chowk area of Lucknow is famous worldwide for its Chickan embroidery work. It also has popular eating joints like Tunde Kababi and Rahim ke Nahari kulche. But a little rain just destroys the beauty of the market. Due to the absence of a sewege system in this heritage area the filth from the toilets of the houses which flows in the open drains on both sides of the roads starts flowing on the market streets and presents a very sad picture. Immediately a good sewege system needs to come up here

FOLLOWING WAYS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED TO MAKE LUCKNOW A SMART CITY : 1)MORE EMPLOYEMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT VARIOUS SECTORS THIS WOULD PROMOTE URBANISATION. 2)IMPROVED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT, IT COULD BE DONE BY INCREASING THE WIDTH OF THE LANES. 3)PROPER LIGHTING ON THE HIGHWAYS ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT WHEN BIG TRUCK ARE ON THEIR WAY. 4)MORE SECURITY CAMERAS AT THOSE PLACES WHICH ARE HEAVILY CROWDED MOST OF THE TIME. 5) AWARENESS PROGRAMMES SHOULD BE CONDUCTED HIGHLIGHTING ISSUES OF COMMON MAN.

1.Lucknow has a rich heritage. In the modern era it is important to give Lucknow a face that is competitive with any other smart city, taking into consideration the values and cultures of people from different religion who have been living together in harmony for so many years. 2. I wish Lucknow to be known as the modern Manchester instead of Kanpur. Government should try and promote IT sector and more business opportunities. 3. Education sector is increasing, but it needs proper regulation.

Cooking gas pipeline to be installed in the entire city. All encroachments should be strictly removed.Rallies and protests should be organized on the outskirts of the city only on Sundays or holidays so as to avoid traffic snarls. All departments should consult each other before staring any work (digging, laying pipelines etc).No vehicles should be allowed inside markets.People putting political party flags and mentioning particular posts on vehicles should be heavily penalized.
