SIR:  Fake godman Nithyananda hit headlines last week after a representative from his 'United States Of Kailasa’ made it to a United Nations event. Self-styled godman Nithyananda fled India in 2019 after being accused of rape and kidnapping.  Later the reports surfaced that he had bought an Island off the coast of Ecuador, where he claimed to have established a country, which he called the 'United States of Kailasa (USK)'.  Nithyananda appeared to send the representatives of 'Kailasa' to the UN to gain recognition.  But yet to arrest Nithyananda and brought back to India to face trial. With so many Babas and Anandas doing their might to destroy the leftover virtues of Hindu way of living it is quite possible he is holding some prominent persons' interest. It is always the same story that Babas escape punishments for their crimes.  It is yet another unwanted facet of discrimination of religion in India is the mushrooming of self-styled godmen.

Strongly suggested to include 1) budget contribution per citizen and 2) Payble gross tax liability by whatsoever name is called per citizen per year ( financial yera 2022 - 23 )

बजट में समाज का हरेक तबका अपने अपने हितों की बात चाहता है, लेकिन सरकार के पास सीमित संसाधन होते हैं। इस प्रकार वह सबका विकास चाहती है। लेकिन कुछ सरकार दूरगामी विकास के लक्ष्य के स्थान पर लोकलुभावन योजनाओं पर बजट आवंटित कर चुनावी लाभ लेती है। यह करदाताओं के साथ सरासर अन्याय है। देश के अधिकांश करदाता मध्यम वर्ग से आते हैं। उन पर बहुत बोझ डालना सही नहीं है। सभी बजट के बाद सरकार को इसके विभिन्न बिन्दुओं पर मीडिया के द्वारा सार्थक ता सिद्ध करने के लिये परिचर्चाएं आयोजित किया जाना चाहिए। सरकारी माध्यमों द्वारा जनमत सर्वेक्षण भी किया जाना चाहिए।

Hon’ble Prime Minister ji - May I recommend that in your speeches and Mann ki Baat you could launch a crusade for Eco Tourism - We have the most diverse country in the world from terrain & demographics points of view that is such a great asset in drawing enthusiastic tourist from across the world. Also our own domestic tourists will get different flavours of India. It may be a good idea to give the “task” of Eco Tourism to the Environment Ministry - let their be a healthy competition with the Tourism Ministry. Since Eco Tourism involves ‘activities’ such as trekking, adventure, outbound team building off-sites, I suggest the GST be kept at the bare minimum level - say 5%. That will help boosting Eco Tourism immensely. Warm regards.

Focus on digital economy - Funds are allocated for various initiatives related to digital economy. Check how this can be leveraged to create more jobs & foster innovation in the sector. Make it KBC type reward mechanism to spread happiness , recognition & spread of government developed digital currency amongst all people. Encourage Feedback - Get feedback + polls + opinions on all such laws, mainly commercial, which seems to be more of a exercise, waste of time & less beneficial to government & a great resistor in pace of development. Like Google playstore apps have reviews, list down all laws & acts on a website & encourage all to post reviews on same. Reviews are a great intellectual feedback & same is being studied by important organisations all over the world which is backup by economists & even political parties.
