Respected Ma'am/Sir, I am Aarya Gupte from grade 9 from SIIS school, Mulund. I would like to convey a utilitarian idea of making our India a country free of E-waste to save our environment. In olympics 2021, the medals awarded were created using tons of E-waste, similarly in India we can build up factories for recycling E-waste collected in recycling bins and making varieties of new artefacts like show pieces, the symbolics lion of Make in India campaign, jewellery, wiring and refurbished devices. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (3Rs), technology platform for linking the market facilitating a circular economy aim to encourage consumers to correctly dispose their e-waste, with increased reuse and recycling rates, and adopt sustainable consumer habits. In developed countries, e-waste management is given high priority, while in developing countries it is exacerbated by completely adopting or replicating the e-waste management of developed countries and several related problems including, lack of investment and technically skilled human resources. In addition, there is lack of infrastructure and absence of appropriate legislations specifically dealing with e-waste. Also, there is inadequate description of the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders and institutions involved in e-waste

Electronic devices when reach end of life still remain resourceful. Efficient resource recovery from e-waste can substantially reduce carbon emissions on account of metals recovered compared to mining. In order to enable effective circularity: 1. Cacapitate ragulators. Improve regulatory governance 2. Facilitate informal-formal integration and curb rudimentary processing in informal sector 3. Incentivize DfE and efficient resource recovery technologies 4. Educate citizens on Dos & Donts 5. Bring standards for monitoring EPR compliance 6. Prioritize resource recovery over collection targets 7. Standardize the refurbishment market

The government should encourage repair technicians. Increase repair work training to minimize electronic waste. The repair work will extend the lifespan of the electronic goods. Companies that manufacture electronic goods must carry out the repair work either directly or through their sales service centers. Prolonging the lifespan rather than reusing it will prevent the accumulation of e-waste. People send electronic items to the trash only when the repair is no longer effective. Service centers say manufacturers are not cooperating. Only spare parts are available for quality from manufacturers. Companies that make electronic goods that cannot be repaired by service centers must provide repair facilities on their premises. Announce a tax deduction for vital spare parts to extend the lifespan of electronic devices.

E waste to be treated properly so that we can save world from All type of pollution. Eco friendly Raw material to be used. If possible some parts which are Reusable to be given to poor countries who can make best use of E waste.

Every electric appliances company should have buy back scheme which they can resell as refurbished and refurbished electronic appliances should be tax free

E waste is threat to the nature and society. Needs to be addressed in proper way. Lot of agencies including private parties needs to be there, so that e waste disposal can be disposed off as per pollution control GUIDELINES
