Basic of advertising is to give information about products with speciality and use of products to attract customer but what happens showing water add or cold drink ads are actual wine it know every body including government officials but they don't want to do anything because revenue hampers every body knows alcohol is harmful effects on body but due to small revenue we play with people life
If we have care of people straight away ban on double meaning ads

7 easy step : (1) Make an agency ( like RTI / court ) to hear such complaint : one at state level ( for print media) & at national level ( for all e-media ) (2) make it popular - so everyone aware about it (3) user friendly - anyone can make a complaint free & very easily via sms / whats app / email / post etc.. (4) Agency ask from concern co. to prove ad reliability (5) time frame (10-30 days),to make accountable (6) put fine and ban the ad (7) put all ban add on website - to shame in public

Wherever absurd claims are made by advertisements, citizens should be able to call them for a live demonstration to prove their claims in front of a large gathering, then they will hesitate to give such advertisements

There should be a voting system against each Grievance or complaint submitted at MoI&B website where a minimum number of votes will qualify for an enquiry against the advertiser and banning its advertisement from further broadcast.

Consumers should be aware that products of vendors making absurd claims should not be touched. Hard earned money should be spent wisely, not handed over on a golden platter. The government should enact stringent laws to punish tricksters. A dedicated website should receive complaints and prompt action taken against legitimate complaints. Publicise names of frauds so that others think twice. Media and vendors to play a more responsible role. Society as a whole has to be ethical and transparent.
