During his Mann ki Baat on 27th December 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested that we utilise the occasion of Republic Day to reacquaint ourselves with our national heroes by voluntarily cleaning their statues and the accompanying premises.
Citizens have actively taken up this suggestion and have converted it into a #StatueCleaning week beginning from 23rd January 2016, the birth anniversary of revolutionary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. On 26th January we celebrated our 67th Republic Day and remembered the contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of our Constitution. This way, during that week, it became not only an opportunity to acquaint ourselves again with the lives of these great Indians, but also to pay our homage to many other of our national heroes, by cleaning their statutes and spreading awareness about their work.
Now, on 14th April, we celebrate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. It will again be an opportunity to pay homage to the Father of our Constitution and acquaint ourselves with his works and teachings.
On this forum, creators of #StatueCleaning events and volunteers taking part in these events can upload the pictures of their activities using the hashtag #StatueCleaning. These contributions can then also be shared on Twitter and Facebook.

Rightly said after long years from independence. New generation people does not know the sacrifices of great leaders. Cleaning statues of the great leaders like Bala Gangadhar Tilak, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardhar Vallabhai Patel,Eswara Chandra Vidyasagar, Annie Besant etc will inspire ourselves to do something to the nation and to people.

celebrate our national events like republic day, independence day and the birth anniversaries of our national heroes Waving our Tiranga.
Many peoples who celebrate those event rarely be respectful with our tiranga when the event is over.
So we the students eagerly request to these people to pay homage to our tiranga which is the dearest thing to every Indian. And every student should be careful to this bcoz it our duty also to take care of it.

Save our country From the corrupt judges. Now the court is questioning the president also. Why should we have a parliament. Just allow the judges to run the country. When parliament and its bodies are supreme then why the SC is unable to accept the appointment of Judges of SC and HC and neither they are doing themselves anything. Dattu went Thakur came. What we want Ifteqar Chaudhary from Pakistan?
Why such lethargy when we know 3 Cr cases are pending? We need the President and the Cabinet to put this cracking pillar of democracy where the cracks are developing wider and wider. If we name the HC judges who are corrupt we will be put inside for content.save.
