In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Tumakuru a Smart City. The citizen feedback received in Stage 1 and 2 of this Challenge have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and prioritized Area Based Development & PAN City projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

As part of the process for Round 3 Citizen Engagement, Tumakuru City Corporation is inviting everyone related to Tumakuru for your feedback as well as valuable suggestions on the proposal.

Smart card can be used for smart city citizen. Smart card can be connected with Aadhar number and mobile number of smart citizen. Smart card is special electronic card and special identification code(unique encryption identification). By this card people can get different public services.

The Average annual rainfall in this City is 670 mms. Tumkur has a Literacy rate of 80.66 per cent well above the district average of 74.32 per cent.

CONCLUSION: We have no come to the end of the analysis of Tumakuru district of Karnataka and i conclude hopefully that these ideas will be implemented to deal with the issues and problems of the backward district of Karnataka which will turn Tumakuru not only clean Tumakuru but beautiful Tumakuru.

This process has already been locally tested by four pilot projects in Norfolk, and is now being used by local pilots in Kortrijk and Leiedal in order to test the methodology’s transferability

Hassan District on the Western side, Mandya district on the Southern side, Bangalore (Rural) district on southeastern side,Kolar district on the eastern side and Andra Pradesh state on the North Eastern side. It lies between 13020’ N Latitude and 75005‘Longitude.
