In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Tumakuru a Smart City. The citizen feedback received in Stage 1 and 2 of this Challenge have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and prioritized Area Based Development & PAN City projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

As part of the process for Round 3 Citizen Engagement, Tumakuru City Corporation is inviting everyone related to Tumakuru for your feedback as well as valuable suggestions on the proposal.

This involvement will facilitate the transfer of the learning and practice from these bottom-up pilots to national strategies, with the potential that the solutions developed by the Smart Cities partners are rolled-out across countries.

The goal of the mainstreaming work package in Smart Cities is to get central governments involved in the project in such a way that they really understand the potential of pilots and methodologies.

When the garbage box becomes full, the LDR sensor attached to its lid will detect the level and send a command to ARM. The ARM receiver will always receive the command and show the condition of garbage box on Liquid Crystal Display and on the computer

The sensor is placed in the garbage bin at a max level , if that level is crossed by the garbage in the bin, then sensor will sense that and will communicate to ARM 7 controller through.
