It is the prime duty of every parent to educate the girl child and by doing in such way not only the entire family is going to be educated but also social evils like dowry,harassment of girls and women will go away.In addition to studies they have to be taught for self defense like karate,to fight against the injustices met with girls and women.Encouragement of women in jobs also will help.Govt.has to encourage by propagation in media,by special incentives given to girl child to encourage.

Girl child education the bigest obstacle it faces is marrige (and when I say marrige I mean all prospects of it) If a girl dares to choose a profession and persues it she will be 26-29 while completing the course and in almost most of the indians will consider it little late for marrige . we need to tackle the girl educatin issue and her marrige issue in a same way to get better results .
