The electronics waste (e-waste) comprises of discarded electrical and electronic equipment, and poses serious challenges globally for improper disposal practices especially in informal sector.

Hon’ble PM has emphasized the need for creating awareness for environmental issues under “Swach Digital Bharat’ during his address at NASSCOM event on 01.03.2015. On the direction of Hon’ble PM, MeitY has initiated the “Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste through Digital India Initiative” over a period of five years to create awareness among the public about the hazards of e-waste recycling by the informal sector and educate them about alternate methods of disposing their e-waste.

Over 95 per cent of e-waste generated is managed by the informal sector. Integration of the informal sector and access to environmentally safe recycling technologies may reduce the health and environmental hazards. In addition to technology, capacity building, skill management, scientific recycling mechanism, business management training are also required for safe recycling of e-waste.

In this context, MeitY is inviting citizen inputs to provide solution for leakage of E-Waste in the informal sector, and suggest proper recycling technology for E-Waste that is economically available.

The last date of submission of suggestions is 4th April, 2018.

To create awareness about scientific disposal methods of EWaste, the Govt. can use media and also the assistance of students through National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (NSS), Scouts & Guides, etc.

Further, ragpickers who collect garbage also come across Ewaste. These ragpickers often dispose off Ewaste using unscientific means and thereby being subjected to a health hazard. The Govt. should urge the ragpickers to hand over the EWaste collected by them to designated authorised collection centres and then pay a fair remuneration to these ragpickers. This will ensure that all EWaste ends up at the notified collection points and also will ensure the disposal of EWaste in scientific manner.

EWaste is a serious concern and I am of the view that the local self governing bodies (Panchayats/Municipalities) with the assistance of State/Central Govt. can play a vital role here. EWaste Collection Centres should be established at Taluka level in each State and Union Territory. Currently, such facility is not existing in many states including Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, and Kerala. (Refer: http://greene.gov.in/collectioncenters/)

Re-use and Recycle waste material like plastic because this when we thrugh this plastic here and there this plastic was taking by the animal and animal were suffering many diseases

Globally wastes means a completely create own environment surface in generates a man cretive means we think is no mean by India but we should remember and respect and goes to way to right and good decision in this topic and learn and teach we resolution for clean India and do home made carporal such as we do recycle reuse and reduse and wastes product such as disposal plastics bottle a perfectly use for own work so we use disposal and bottle for a different material as a basket receiver etc

We can give Photo to all so that at which his all information is into that photo not be displayed to other that will be decrypted by that person only and remaining all information should be deleted other then that information is deleted...

Place a machine which dispose e waste and and credits to smart card which in turn can be used for purchasing electronics items.

The waste disposal vehicles to separate plastic and e-waste to try the environment cleaning and the Help for city cleaning.To ban plastic bags and accessories for avoiding air pollution.
