The electronics waste (e-waste) comprises of discarded electrical and electronic equipment, and poses serious challenges globally for improper disposal practices especially in informal sector.

Hon’ble PM has emphasized the need for creating awareness for environmental issues under “Swach Digital Bharat’ during his address at NASSCOM event on 01.03.2015. On the direction of Hon’ble PM, MeitY has initiated the “Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste through Digital India Initiative” over a period of five years to create awareness among the public about the hazards of e-waste recycling by the informal sector and educate them about alternate methods of disposing their e-waste.

Over 95 per cent of e-waste generated is managed by the informal sector. Integration of the informal sector and access to environmentally safe recycling technologies may reduce the health and environmental hazards. In addition to technology, capacity building, skill management, scientific recycling mechanism, business management training are also required for safe recycling of e-waste.

In this context, MeitY is inviting citizen inputs to provide solution for leakage of E-Waste in the informal sector, and suggest proper recycling technology for E-Waste that is economically available.

The last date of submission of suggestions is 4th April, 2018.

For any further information about E-Waste, please visit the GREENE website.

My point is on recruitment of teachers. Why you are draining the brains of those students who are well educated at the moment nad not getting any jobs in any part of India. Sir, please demolish the system of recruiting the teachers in bureaucracy manner, this results a big corruption. I want that there are websites like quikrjob.com, naukri.com hundreds of job websites are there and lots of brains resume over there why not your govt. Hire them like this process. They can educate better than them

Respected Sir, I would like to raise an issue on education provided to the children of villages by the fraudly recruited teachers of Bihar specifically, because i belongs from there. Sir, you brings lots of good things on paper and try to convey it to the people in broader sense but they can't able to understand why because of low education and i must say that because of low understanding in families child labour is increasing day by day because of hungerness among them. My main in next comment.

Educating public about harmful damages by E-waste. Create #SwachhBharat campaign and spread the knowledge through blogs, digital, social media Partnering with ISO certified Electronical waste management companies. Rolling out a plan for collecting of E-waste through local municipality corporation. Transporting the waste to recycling units for dismantling and further conversation of waste into useful metals/minerals. With proper design and management it can also create alot of jobs.
