there are companies existing who collect e-waste from corporates. give them incentives to invest in educating the common man to go and dispose off these waste in their collection bins. You can always offer the common man a token for disposing this in the right way.Use the current existing collection infrastructure. then use this e-waste to recover precious & rare earth metals as done in Europe. Share Technology & give incentives for entrepreneur to start up a new industry.

NAMASKARAM. FIRST POINT TO SEE HOW WE CAN REDUCE THE GENERATION OF E-WASTE. POSSIBLE ONLY BY ENCOURAGING LOCAL MATERIALS AND ECO FRIENDLY PRODUCTS BEING PUT TO USE.
SECONDLY, WE HAVE TO DEVELOP MORE SCIENTIFIC METHODOLOGY TO RECYCLE ALL THE EWASTES INTO LONG LASTING PRODUCTS.

Please make a website where people can sell their waste electronic gadgets.
You pickup things from home of people and give some money to them and recycle those things.

In China most of the E-waste is recycled and used for manufacturing of new products.similarly in India the government should start a industry for recycling E-waste.This will also provide employment opportunities in our country.

As you are aware, most of the E waste is generated in Industrial areas and affluent urban housing colonies. My suggestion is to establish Collection centres in those areas, or a small cell / centres may be setup in local municipal office for collection of e waste. this should be in a prominent place or on the prominent road side, so that people can easily recognise and handover their e waste. Once the e waste is collected, GOVt can process it and use in roads other infra projects

Lot of e-models of same brand coming into market in short time. This can affect public tendency in buying or using them.
Controlling of e-models can reduce wastage of old ones which could not be used for long time.

People are aware of harmful effects of e-waste but they do not have any other option then to throw it with the solid municipal waste. If govt. Provide a seperate dustbins for it, people will definitely use it.

The dream of swacchata cannot be achieved even if 100 Mahatma Gandhis or 1,000 Narendra Modis or even all the CMs and governments come together, but if 125 crore Indians come together that dream can be easily fulfilled.
