According to me meerut city deserve to be smart city because in this city have lots of multinational company, well known hospital, now meerut its a educational hub student home here for study from all over india and abroad also, Meerut a Historical city well known for 1857 freedom struggle,there is also a tourist spot like hastinapur, and to promote as a Tourist hub for Hastinapur and Sardhana ,we shall make it smart city. By making it smart city we give value to our epic Mahabharta.Best of Luck

Meerut is a historical city. First revolt for our independence started from the soil of meerut only.But inspite of its proximity to our capital city delhi govt has ignored its value so now its the time that modi govt should take initiative to make meerut a SMART CITY with all amenities like metro, rapid train, 24 hr power, 6 lane expressways, security, good roads, greenery, pollution free city
