The Govt should recognize time value of money and accordingly maintain minimum essential cash, with the rest being invested or achieve reduction in borrowings by efficient cash management. This will be possible with complete automation. Automation will also help centralized cash handling for all ministries. Shorten the 'decision loop' by slashing avoidable intermediate levels. It will also help achieve single point responsibility rather than multiple, ambiguous and evade-able responsibility.

If the center ensures that board question papers of tenth standard and second pu are not leaked and correction happens in a fair manner without people pulling strings and bribing evaluators, the students who fill the seats of good colleges will be the ones who deserve the seat and this will ensure that the nation moves forward. Tomorrows future is in their hands

Expenditure especially Govt expenditure has to be minimal. The newspaper advertisements on govt schemes running into full pages in many newspapers with Photos of Ministers including PM must stop forthwith. The DAVP, DD, AIR, Govt Departments can give publicity and lakhs/crores of govt expenditure on ads in newspapers must stop. Govt must set an example itself on expenditure which are avoidable.
