The general public/stakeholder is hereby informed that the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) invites comments/suggestions on the amendment in “Apprentices Act,1961” with an objective to enhance the apprenticeship opportunities for youth.

Any person/stakeholder desirous of sending their comments/suggestions may do so through e-mail at anita.sriv@nic.in within thirty working days from the date of publication of the details of the invite.

Kindly make national level exam for government and private industry in which only internship completed persons can only apply. It will help them to get good job and get fruit of hard practical works rather than to provide jobs to only good theoretical knowledge based students.

Apprenticeship training should be extended to migrant workers also.Just by showing Aadhaar card they should be enrolled Govt intention is to give skill to every Indian.Govt should collect small fees to make them responsible in attending classes. Which should be short term specific to Sundays or evenings for short duration. To impart training for specific construction field or industrial helper training to make aware of safety and handling of power tools etc.
