Under your visionary and uncompromising leadership, the country's boundaries have been well secured. Every commoner of this country is aware of this reality. While the earlier regimes which governed the country neither had the vision nor the will to act on the realities, as they were overburdened with the desire to only enjoy the power. Since the resources were not properly channelised, they hardly found any funds for strengthening the borders nor the defence services. It was in that scenario the country found a leader who had the will, time, energy, and the right mindset to guide its destiny in 2014. The phenomenal development of the defence infrastructure whether it be on the ground (such as the Sela Tunnel, in Arunachal Pradesh), air or on the seas, are watched with awe in our neighbourhood and across the world. Unfortunately, the grand old party and their ilk, frustrated by being in opposition, unashamedly, are even venturing to demoralise the people. That is indeed sad.

Dear Sir Prime Minister jee,
At the beginning, I express my sincere gratitude and best wishes for all the good work done by you and your team.
In one of the Mann Ki Baat episodes and even at AYUSH Summit, you mentioned about Ayurveda and its benefits and mentioned about how the daughter of ex PM of Kenya regained eyesight with Ayurvedic treatment at Sreedhareeyam Eye Hospital.
I work for SBI. In SBI, till now, there is no clear policy for reimbursement of costly Ayurvedic treatments(in-patient and also others) being taken by its staff and family members.
When Government of India is promoting AYUSH at various levels, at that point it pains me to see the apathy shown by an organization of SBI's stature towards alternative lines of treatment like Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, etc.
I request you to mention it in your Mann Ki Baat programme and appeal to all the Corporates, PSUs and other Government entities to include AYUSH treatment in part of their reimbursement schemes.

It is very important for the current generation to know the value of money and the value of time. Nowadays children don't have to go through the hardships their previous generations went through. Whatever be the economic status of the child, the importance of time and money must be embedded in them from a young age. Education is now so westernised and with emphasis on rote learning, the basic principles of life are overlooked.
Secondly, on priority the English textbooks have to be changed wherein stories and poems are so westernised. We have a rich culture and heritage to boast about. If we have to rise as a nation then there should be valuable stories from our country. Each one of us have to ask ourselves - do other nations have a syllabus speaking about our glory? No I don't think so. That's because we have not taught our children in the first place.

Sir, It is the duty of the opposition to criticise the policies and programmes of the government which are not in national interest. However some opposition leaders are crossing the line and taking an anti national and pro China stand. This is not acceptable. They are even demoralising our army who are protecting our country so that we will live and sleep peacefully. Probably it is due the agreement signed by a political party with the Chinese People’s Party which by extension, is the government. I request the government to get a copy of the agreement from the president of the party and place it in the public domain. We the citizens are curious to know what is there. Moreover, the leaders should not be provided palatial accommodation at taxpayers’ money to indulge in anti national activities. It is time the government asks them to vacate the huge bungalows and provide lesser accommodation to them. They just don’t deserve.
