Re: Capital gain tax on sale of immovable properties.
Suggestion:
To tax gains on sale of immovable properties @5%.
Calculation of capital gain:
For self-acquired properties sale value minus cost of acquisition plus registration charges and any improvements made thereon by cheque.
For inherited properties the cost to be taken at “nil”.
Advantages:
1. Do away with complicated calculations and litigations. It does away with a number of cumbersome provisions.
2. Tax collection jumps manifold without much effort and there’s also an element of equity.
Other points:
1. Buyer pays around 7% as registration fees.
2. Seller pays nothing.
3. TDS etc finally does not come in as tax collection as it gets adjusted on some provision or the other.
4. Tax administration will be easy and simplified.

There are many talented/skilled/ knowledged employees in Govt sector whose talent is going waste because of the stunted growth prospects. They shd be allowed to go on leave on loss of pay and promotion (but should join in the same cadre where they left before 5-7 years if they wish to) they can make tremendous difference to industry, teaching skill development etc by opening their institutes, SMEs, etc , There should be a channel for all those who would like to venture out in to their chosen areas so that their fullest potential can be itilized for the benefit of society.

At least this time increase major Income tax relief. As tax bands revised long back.. regular tax payers feel helpless as salaries and inflation getting increased but no tax relief.
First place we pay Income tax and then tax on every thing we do.

Dear sir,
Please kindly increase the slab for senior citizens tax calaculations to higher amount so that they dont have pay tax on any saving or investments they have or any income they receive.
Also govt should propose some kind of new financially secure plan of elderly above 60 as in future i dont think people will have same love towards parents as it was there in a joint family.

Govt. Should announce special treatment for tax payers, if tax payers get special and priorty in any public services then more people will start to pay taxes. Like in railway reservation, medical support,Banking services, and whatever be Govt schemes for general public, if tax payers get separate window, then it will motivate to more peoples to pay tax and they also feel privilege that Govt is recognising their contribution towards country, for example in train, bus or any public transport there should be some reservations for tax payers.

Below are my suggestions for Salaried Employees.
1) Increase current amount slabs for medical insurance for family and parents.
2) Increase preventive health check limit from 5000 to 50000
3) Extend the timeline for electric vehicle interest until 2025, as most of the vehicles have battery stations issue and all cars are expensive
4) Increase limit of 80C to 5 Lakhs for government to get more cash inflow
5) Increase limit on home loan to 5 Lakhs as there is huge prices increase of homes now.
6) Revise the income tax slabs. Increase it from 2.5 Lacs to next higher level
