For Digital Payments, citizens should have a high level of confidence in keeping their money in Banks. "Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation" cover seems to be limited to Rs. One Lakh since 1993.(With various past limits being:)
5,000 wef. 1 Jan 1968
10,000 wef. 1 Apr 1970
20,000 wef. 1 Jan. 1976
30,000 wef. 1 Jul 1980
1,00,000 wef. 1 May 1993.
Keeping in mind inflation since 1993 and intended preference to keep money in Banks, the limit should be increased appropriately.

There is acute shortage of currency of small denomination in ATM. The restriction is fine but we have to provide banks in remote and rural places with currencies as there is stoppage of day to day activities in buying goods of daily necessity. The policy makers need keep the nee of daily wage earners, farmers and remote villagers in mind while prescribing any policy to carry forward the VISION OF PM.

Digital payment is long term project as we have to make the facilities available in remote and inaccessible area in India. Besides the agencies like bank and service provider charge commission and this is going to be a burden on common man such as villagers, farmers etc.
Provisions have to be made to waive all such charges.
Our goal should be ten years to cover all transaction.
There is gap between availability of announced schemes and its actual operation across whole of India.

Sir, I would like to also suggest that in social inclusion of rural areas and enhance digital economy. There should be a Govt and gram panchayat model GPP setup of common smart malls or integrated system for all local and vendors shops & good connectivity from all nearest village to the mall. 1 mall in 5-10 village. And there should be saving model setup for digital transaction vs cash transaction & daily expenses saves vs weekly expenses (e.g.100 Rs saves) and experience to villagers for mall.

I would like to suggest that in the nature of change in digital economy, there should be some mandatory terms of making transaction digital. So like 10℅ of total salary in formal or informal sector should go to wallet account in partnership of bank and payment companies. And that's should attract tax saving on that amount. Same for the merchants it should be mandatory to show there 10℅ total earnings through digital channel and tax should be more if either Consumer or merchant not shows interest

Dear Sir,
just a simple opinion of my self is - "the transaction charges must be waived off permanently for using debit card, otherwise people again move back to cash payments. Even many banks taking annual maintenance charge on debit card also.
