UGC has got a very good NET / SLET / SET examination portfolio but there is no concrete system or mechanism to employ that talent in the country. Most of the faculty recruitment by colleges is managed in advance by its society and interviewee through various malpractices. Hence it is necessary to come up with an effective system from UGC to employ this talent directly as there would be no intervention then by anyone. Interviews are mere formalities but the selection is virtually made in-hand.

In Commerce Faculty actual employed staff on non-grant basis is about 2-4 in number which works on Clock Hour Basis with monetarily very demotivating scenario. When college has more than 1000 students and only 2 aided teaching posts others keep on quitting after every academic year and in search of a good source for livelihood. Min.of HRD & UGC has to play a vital role in eliminating this scenario. Solution: No. of aided teaching positions need to be augmented atleast 2 per faculty than present.

Higher Education policy must aim at increasing grant-in-aid teaching / faculty positions in all colleges to promote the education to remote parts of the country for delivering high professional degrees / courses knowledge. There too lies the real, unexplored and vital potential of India. Method: For example, in Commerce Faculty there are more than 6 subjects offered at any college but the aided teaching posts are most commonly only two Accountancy & Commerce.

Education loan should be provided by the government so that the students can study further in abroad or in India as well because now a days it cost about 11-20lakh in India only to complete ur degree in a reputed university

A single year of college in the US/UK costs between INR 20-40 lakhs on an average. And still eligible candidates there do not showcase financial reasons to not study, because of the large number of alumni and government scholarships. On the other hand, a single year of college in India costs INR 20-40 thousand instead, and at the end of the degree, the students hardly have any practical knowledge, and are jobless (in case they get a job, they could have done it after 10+2)

The basic school education of 10+2 should be made more practical as per internatinal standards, post which pursuing a degree should be made a tough and calculated choice. Today, the situation of India is that post-graduate students with MBAs, M.Techs, M.Scs, MAs and MComs are working in call centers and other outsourcing process firms. This leads to failure of the educational system and a wastage of resources as any 10+2 english-educated candidate can replace them and perform their duties.

Firstly, stop granting any further university/college permissions to private entities. The value of higher education has to be checked first. Today, Indian degrees count for nothing internationally when masses are concerned. Anyone can easily do an MBA today from private institutes and then those degrees dont hold value. The Universities and the courses should be made self-financed instead of the need for support from Center or States.

The education system till 10+2 should be equally focused on practical and theoretical knowledge. And is should include some technical knowledge subject also. And in Technical universities there is mismatch among universities, like most of the universities are not giving one complete semester to students. They are including 4-5 theory subjects and projects on one semester so due to this students are not getting time and also interest in projects and they are going for buying project form outside.

The Universities should be allowed to expand its education base by incorporating ppp model. The big shot guns should be requested to invest in the local college or university for the public welfare.
