Vocational development of students at the higher education level is also required. Most of the UG/PG students do not end up with any expertise in relation to employability. Indian institutions those who are interested in developing the short/Long term Job Ready Expert programs in affiliation with the Top ranked Overseas institutions, for students at Bachelors/masters level, should be encouraged.

Remove "caste based reservation" from education system as it supports mal-education and is vile for the future of education in India.

Professional student like Engineering , MBA etc have informal network of alumni to help them. Encourage these student to write a blog of what it they was success in getting the job, what the book they read. basic flow of the industries process. If they can share any training material which does not conflict intellectual property right. Any freely available material on the internet which can help.

Number of students is the biggest practical challenge of giving industrial exposure to students. Everyone target a few big industries in a city. This makes a industrial exposure exercise a mere formality. Firstly we need to define industry. Even a floor mill/ saloon is an industry. We need to develop the understanding about the "industry" in a articulated sequence.While doing that, the employability skills can be planted in subtle manner.

I am practicing HSE professional. Its since long time i a propagating that Health , Safety & Environment to be taught in Engineering Undergraduate / Diploma curriculum. Minus this the fresh graduate find it difficult to understand the industry HSE requirement and its importance in alleviating the injury and accident to make the workplace safe for themselve and their employees. My humble request to authority to look in to it for inclusion of HSE in Engineering / Diploma curriculum

yes it is very much important to engage education and industry on common platform because it has been seen that classroom knowledge is for passing the exams and heading towards fulfilling the creteria and then after that when a child move out in the feild he/she unable to get the good job.so govt. should look for Apprenticeship programme during the study at a very minimmal cost so that student get satisfied after completing the course and practically contribute in nation building.

IITs are the best tech institutes but around them there are no industrial hubs. It shows the apathy on the part of our technical/B-schools. The role of faculty is very important. I am sorry to say that our faculty across the country is very high headed and have become materialistic. This stigma must be broken.

There should be more of encouragement towards summer internship. Working as an intern in your dream company not only help you in understanding the organisation but it even helps an individual to gain a full time employment easily and its more easy for company to hire the employees.
