Manual scavengers are largely illiterate and have no exposure or aptitude for doing business or taking up self employment ventures.  This makes their rehabilitation in alternative occupations very challenging.

\

What are the ways in which the manual scavengers can be gainfully employed in other occupations, so that they do not return to manual scavenging? Participants may share success stories that they may be aware of.

In order to fulfill our vision of 'Clean India' by 2 October 2019, I too wish to have my humble contribution and clean the Rail tracks and Stations in India by a simple, cost effective and easy to install ADVANCED HYGIENIC CLEANING SYSTEM FOR RAILWAYS. It is a working model for safe/hygienic collection of human excreta from all rail coaches at pre-determined stations and its further safe disposal to bio-gas plants. I have presented it in the “ALL KERALA SCHOOL SCIENCE FAIR 2013-14”.

Dear Sir, how can we stop being victimesd of a fraudulent activity from other countries. Sir this is to inform you that we have imported some scrap from China and we found stones in the container. The seal issued by shipping company was tampered when container reaches India and on some the seal no. Was not matching which were mentioned on BL. Sir we are very small people and won't be able to fight with shipping line as they have the responsibility of the same. Sir please help us.

Respected Sir, Why cant we have free walkways in cities? This causes great difficulty to people to walk, which results in accidents and fatalities.

Dear Sir, Somehow we should stop the menace of begging as in my opinion it would bring down up to an extent the child missing cases as children are abducted from rural or poor people for making them beggars by gangs of people. If we can have a stern law for the same it would be great.

It is a shame to see the police, who earn from our salary collect bribe from the same. We have been paying them without the knowledge of the govt. and sometimes we are not to blame. I have payed a bribe in dire circumstances when i havent any option. But to see shopkeepers, on a street sharing their minimal earnings with the police surely is a bad sight. It happens on every street in Bangalore leading to a collection of lakhs of rupees a day (all black money). will upload pics of this soon.

Dear Modi ji,I cant see the way the Pourakarmikas are made to collect garbage. The dont have even gloves, shoes or anything to protect themselves from the stench. The Govt.authorities say that the garbage contractor has to provide them proper facilities to collect garbage but they blame the govt. Finally these people are deprived of basic facilities to do their work protect their health. Please look into this matter.
