Manual scavengers are largely illiterate and have no exposure or aptitude for doing business or taking up self employment ventures.  This makes their rehabilitation in alternative occupations very challenging.

\

What are the ways in which the manual scavengers can be gainfully employed in other occupations, so that they do not return to manual scavenging? Participants may share success stories that they may be aware of.

If a locality is taken to be a model locality where all facilities of dustbins, garbage collection and disposal is provided citizens will themselves ensure that the locality is clean and swatch, similarly public toilets are made for use no one would urinate in public. why is Vaisno devi shrine clean as there are dustbins at every 10 mtrs toilets at every 100 mtrs. Imagine the boost small scale industry get in producing umpteen no garbage bins, the labour generated in creating toilets etc

Respected Modiji pranam, i wish to share my views on the commendable swatch bharat campaign launched by you. this pgme will not only help clean our country but also assist in boosting our economy, if we get into the basic indian psyche of comman man, each and every one of us wants his or her house clean and spanky, however they dont care for the same when out of their house, if Analised it happens because of lack of dustbins, toilets n garbage disposal facilities.Lack of space add to write dtls?

World is going higher with the increasing population. Can't we discover or adopt that Engineering instead of spreading our Cities wider? So that maximum people, maximum families can live in their own houses without destroying more land. We can look at Japan and understand how they've made it possible in such conditions where earthquakes are quite often.

In continuation on your major initiatives of cleaning. I see US has all scavengers equipped with blower machines in place of broom. that is efficient and quick. There garbage trucks are clean so even if they drive on the road you would not feel bad to follow that truck.

Hello Mr. Prime Minister, I m Ashish Bilochi, I am a software Engineer. I had been in US for 4 years on an assignment. While being there I realized so many things that could have been done in India. 1. Police & Traffic Police reform. 2. Education Reform including sports and research in our education system. 3. Another green revolution to plan future needs of 125 crore India citizens. 4. Modern machines for road infrastructure development. 5. Medical Insurance. 6. Secured Retirement.
