No doubt NHAI has been doing great jobs. There is no end of doing better and here are my suggestions: (a) Bank guarantee is to be taken from the contractor for any deficiency of quality of road made the amount to be adjusted; (b) there should be proper illumination on both side of road; (c) retro-reflective or glossy paint on red to be pasted where ever signage on safety are involved. There should be service road where ever possible so that local people should not use highway.
Last not the least that there should be any hawking zone or Juggies on both side of the highway and that should be away atleast about 200 to 300 meters from the highway.
In every major road accident proper investigation may be carried out with conclusion for avoiding any further accidents.

Dear Sir, highways connectivity & quality of roads are very good . developments are excellent, one suggestion is on highways Hotels & Restaurants are of Government or Gov approved private companies, which h includes all facilities like stay, food, petrol ⛽️ pump, shopping related travelers etc. which generate money to central Gov Or State Gov. & main thing people will get fresh food without any religious tension. At the same time monopoly of few restaurants Channels will be in control. We have seen the rudeness of the restaurants owners, many places they take payment only in cash & don't pay tax to gov. Please look in to this.
Regards.

In highways most accidents are during night time only because riding for so long time without resting and quiet around makes the rider/driver sleepy to avoid this in some countries they are using blue lights at certain distance ( psychologically blue lights avoid sleep)

NHAI can consider appointment of local unemployed youths to maintain the plants on the dividers This will help many unemployed youths to work and earn.
Accident prone areas has to identified and Solar powered lamps has to be placed for better viewing during night time. Some areas are very dark and it's really difficult to identify that location. So sign boards near important places has to be kept. This will help the drivers in case if they miss the route.
All liquor shops near NH should be removed and it has to be shifted to far off places. This will prevent drunk and drive during night time.
Villagers around the NH should be strictly prohibited from allowing their cattles roaming freely on NH causing accident due to speeding vehicles.
In some areas villagers suddenly cross in the middle of the NH without any indication. An awareness among the local villagers and school children on safe road crossing has to be made in large scale.

NHAI should set up a rest rooms at every 15 - 20 kilometres like Indian Railways. One can buy a Prepaid Coupons like Fast Tag and use them. This rest room should have a AC and sofas to sit. A well maintained washrooms for ladies and gents and Physically Challenged people should be there. Those who has leg pain when they travel long distance can use these Prepaid Rest Rooms. They can relax or have their food and then continue their journey. A Sanitary Pads vending machine and incinerator to dispose Sanitary Pads, Diapers etc should be there. This will help many female travellers. They can use these washrooms. A separate restroom for male and female travellers should be there to maintain privacy. Breastfeeding room should also be there. I request NHAI to consider this suggestion and implement it. A nominal fee to use only toilet can be collected. This money should be used to maintain the toilet neatly. A prepaid card method to use these facilities should be available.

Sir/Madam, Mobile app can be integrated with Digital account of a person. This account can keep track of Driving License, vehicle registration, vehicle inspection etc.
Speedometer app on driver’s mobile can be integrated measuring the speed of vehicle. Speed over limit can be alerted 5 times as warning. Then ticket can be issued. This can reduce manual traffic police control.
