Subsidy and discount is not a solution. If said about industries and offices they only needed to know the thing... A request from the authorities will be enough to think over it nd they will defenitely do it. Being a corporate and being a civillian too..

It's a fact that rural area people are not literate. They don't know wt's benefit of using it. They are needed to be enlightened. An effective way is to enlighten each one of them nd ofcourse the point is how?Still Newspapers and radios are a common source for rural people to know the world which can sort out the problem a bit. Print media can play a key role. Gov. should advertise with proper graphics content.

Educate, Educate, Educate: Send pamphlets inserted in newspapers, advertise on television, add an extra page in electricity bills to talk about how LED lights can reduce the electricity bills, help the country, save the environment.

Use electricity department to sell LED lights in installments that are recuperated through monthly electricity bills. Give discounts in electricity bills to such folks.

Let people buy and use LED lights. Ask them to produce receipts for such purchases and then give them a one-time sizeable rebate on their electricity bill. Product 1 page statistics with electricity bills (or flyers) so that they understand how LED lights can help them save electricity.

1. unlike food and real estate quality control LED lights should be the part of quality control check list. 2. allowance or subsidy or just flexible rules for the trade of LED manufacturing/marketing. 3. using energy saving equipment should be part of education.
